This 6 day Nepal tour package deals with two major tourist cities of Nepal. Kathmandu is the first one which is known as the city of temple and heritage. Pokhara, the second city, is known for nature and adventure.

The ancient city carries several historical cultures and heritage. Travellers who prefer to explore those things along with several pilgrimage sites can visit the capital of Nepal. Seven UNESCO-listed world heritage sites all belong to the Kathmandu valley. In addition, several festival occasions and Jatra’s make this city a living heritage. Newari culture is one of the key attractions of Kathmandu. Bisket Jatra, Gai Jatra, Rato Machindranath Jatra, and Indra Jatra are noticeable Jatra’s of Newari communities. Living goddess Kumari is one of the parts of some of these Jatra.

Hindu temples like Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan, Banglamukhi, Doleshwor, and Changunarayan will reopen your religious faith. However, three Durbar squares of Kathmandu valley will take you to the ancient time of the 14th century and introduce the wonderful architecture of that time. Boudhanath and Swayambhunath stupa are the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu. Besides all these attractions you will get as many things to explore in Kathmandu. During your travel time, you will explore some of these attractions.

Pokhara, the natural heaven, offers you a magnificent view of mountains in the north part of Nepal. You can capture the memorable sunrise view through the Annapurna mountain ranges. Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Himchuli, and Manaslu are other known mountains which can see from Sarangkot. Pokhara also offers seven different lakes, several wells know caves, mysterious Davi’s falls, the deepest Seti Gorge and landscape city view from the World Peace Pagoda. In addition, people interested in the mountains can visit the International Mountain Museum to get more information about the mountains and living the lifestyle of mountain people.

Moreover, on the first day, you will arrive in Kathmandu. We can add any sightseeing on your request with an additional fee as per your arrival time. On the second day, you will visit 4 major sightseeing points of Kathmandu. The third dayyou will drive to Pokhara, the flight also available there (optional). On the way, you can do river rafting in Trishuli river and also can visit Manakamana Temple by cable car. On the fourth day, you will visit Sarangkot to view the sunrise and also the mountain ranges. You will get some free morning time for available adventure activities in Pokhara. During the daytime, you will complete a half day sightseeing of Pokhara. Fifth day, you will drive back to Kathmandu and will get some free evenings for shopping. Lastly, on the sixth day we will farewell you on your return home.

DAY 1

Kathmandu Arrival.

Your Arrival Time (?) Our representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel.

At. 06:00 PM: A short briefing about your tour program. If you are arriving late (after 4 PM) then we will have a briefing next morning at 09:00 AM. If any payment is due, then it will be collected during briefing time.

DAY 2

Kathmandu Sightseeing.

At. 10:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will visit for a full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Once you complete your sightseeing we will drop you back to your hotel.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:00 AM. (INR 10,500 Per Person)

Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrines for Hindus.This temple, situated on the bank of Bagmati river was built in the 5th century There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.

Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. It is the center hub of Buddhism in Nepal which is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Lichchavi rulers renovated the staple during the 8th century, which was made in the shape of a Mandala. 

Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest and oldest Stupa in the world. It is Located on a small hillock in west Kathmandu hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D. by King Manadeva, is also known by the name "Monkey Temple".

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. The Malla king Pratap Malla erected the statue of Hanuman (the Hindu god of power) in this place and it was named Hanuman Dhoka.  Taleju Temple, Tribhuvan Museum, the house of Kumari (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap, the temple of Kal Bhairav along with few other temples are some places to explore.

DAY 3

Drive to Pokhara.

At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Pokhara (approx. 7 hours of driving). Visit Manakamana temple en-route and continue driving towards Pokhara. Optionally you can also experience river rafting in the Trishuli river.

Note: Manakamana Temple Cable Car Ride Cost isn’t included (INR 550 per person)

Manakamana temple is just 10 minutes of cable car ride from the bottom station called Kurintar. Manakamana  is believed to be the goddess for fulfilling our wishes. It is 104 KM far from Kathmandu.*Cost of the Manakamana cable car is not included in the package.

DAY 4

Sarangkot Sunrise, Pokhara Sightseeing.

At. 05:00 AM: Early in the morning you will drive to Sarangkot hill for sunrise and the close up view of the Himalayan ranges.

At. 10:00 AM: After breakfast you will go for half day sightseeing to David’s fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, World Peace Pagoda, Bindhyabasini Temple and Phewa Lake. You can also enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake in the evening.

David's Falls: David's falls is an amazing waterfall in Pokhara Valley which is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. It is also known as Patale Chhango which means underwater world. According to local old people, On 31th july 1961 a swiss couple Davi went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. From that day the place is known as David's falls.

Gupteshwor cave: Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, one of the longest caves of Nepal is nearly 3km long. There are some walls dripping water inside  the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of Lord Shiva. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is near David's falls.

Bindhyabasini Temple: Bindhyabasini temple is situated on the hilltop and 3000m from sea level. This religious place of Hindus living in Pokhara region is devoted to goddess Durga. Goddess Durga which is also known as Kali Mata is the symbol of a bloodthirsty  goddess. Many people come here to worship and sacrifice animals.

Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple: Beautiful Lake Phewa  is the second largest lake of Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 sq km with an average depth of about 8.6m, maximum water depth is 19m.  The reflection of Mount Annapurna can be seen on Phewa lake. Another attraction of this lake is Barahi Temple made in pagoda style, which is an island in the middle of Phewa lake.

DAY 5

Drive back to Kathmandu.

At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching, check in at the hotel, later you will have free evening time to explore the Thamel tourist area by walking from your hotel. You can also do your shopping around Thamel.

DAY 6

Transfer to Airport.

You will be free till your flight time. We will transfer you to the airport 3 hours before on time to board your outbound flight. (30 minutes of drive)
