The major pilgrimage sites you will visit are Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Bhaleshwar temple in Kathmandu. Likewise, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindhyabasini temple, and Tal Barahi temple in Pokhara.

Pashupatinath, a pagoda-style Hindu temple is surrounded by 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas, and 12 Jyotirlinga. Chandragiri hill at an altitude of 2,551 meters, is a bit far away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu which serves as a vantage point for Kathmandu valley view and some panoramic mountain views from Annapurna to Everest on clear days. You will reach the top by a 9-minute cable car ride. You can also choose to have lunch at Chandragiri hills resort, 1 KM away from Bhaleshwar temple.

Cultural and Historical Heritages

DAY 1

Your Arrival Time (?) Upon your arrival, complete immigration formalities and collect your baggage, which may take one and half hours. Our representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu airport in Nepalese style before escorting you to your hotel, and also give you a short briefing about the tour program.

Important Note: You can enjoy your leisure time by visiting a nearby market or casino at the hotel.

DAY 2

Kathmandu Sightseeing.

At. 09:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for today's sightseeing. During a full day of guided sightseeing, you will visit UNESCO-listed world heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath. Once you complete your sightseeing, we will drop you back to your hotel.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:30 AM from Kathmandu airport to Kathmandu airport, a 50-minute flight that takes you for an aerial view of Mt. Everest and several other mountains. (INR 10,500 Per Person, window seat for all)

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. The Malla king Pratap Malla erected the statue of Hanuman (the Hindu god of power) in this place and it was named Hanuman Dhoka. Taleju Temple, Tribhuvan Museum, the house of Kumari (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap, the temple of Kal Bhairav along with a few other temples are some places to explore. Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest, and oldest Stupa in the world. It is Located on a small hillock in west Kathmandu hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D. by King Manadeva, is also known by the name "Monkey Temple".

Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrine for Hindus. This temple, situated on the bank of Bagmati river was built in the 5th century There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva), and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can see the temple and the activities performed on the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river. Last but not least, Boudhanath, is one of the largest stupas of the world. It is the center hub of Buddhism in Nepal which is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Lichchavi rulers renovated the staple during the 8th century, which was made in the shape of a Mandala.

DAY 3

Fly to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing.

At. 09:30 AM: Once you complete your breakfast, prepare yourself to proceed to Kathmandu airport and take your flight to Pokhara. Our representative will pick you up from Pokhara airport and transfer you to your resort at the Sarangkot hilltop.

At. 01:30 PM: Once you check in and get some rest, you will visit the Pumdikot Shiva Statue and World Peace Pagoda. While on your return stop at Lakeside to enjoy a leisurely time around the market.

DAY 4

Sarangkot Sunrise, Pokhara Sightseeing.

At. 05:30 AM: Wake up early in the morning to experience the panoramic view of the Himalayas and the beautiful sunrise from your resort at the hilltop.

At. 10:00 AM: After having your breakfast at the resort you will get a certain time to participate in available optional activities in Pokhara. If you are not interested in any activities then you will visit Davis fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Besides that, you can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake.

Sarangkot is a place from where a mind-blowing view of sunrise and sunset over the mountains can be seen. One of the famous stupas, the World Peace Pagoda is another attraction near Sarangkot, lying on the top of the opposite hill. Sarangkot is the viewpoint of Pokhara valley from where one can enjoy paragliding and zip flyers.

Davis falls is an amazing waterfall in Pokhara Valley which is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. It is also known as Patale Chhango which means underwater world. According to local old people, On 31th july 1961 a swiss couple Davi went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. From that day the place is known as Davi's falls.

Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, one of the longest caves of Nepal is nearly 3 Km long. There are some walls dripping water inside the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of Lord Shiva. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is near David's falls.

Bindhyabasini temple is situated on the hilltop and 3000m from sea level. This religious place of Hindus living in Pokhara region is devoted to goddess Durga. Goddess Durga which is also known as Kali Mata is the symbol of a bloodthirsty goddess. Many people come here to worship and sacrifice animals for homage.

Beautiful Lake Phewa is the second largest lake of Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 sq km with an average depth of about 8.6m, maximum water depth is 19m. The reflection of Mount Annapurna can be seen on Phewa lake. Another attraction of this lake is Barahi Temple made in pagoda style, which is an island in the middle of Phewa lake.

DAY 5

Fly to Kathmandu, Explore Patan and Chandragiri.

At. 08:30 AM: Have your breakfast before driving to Pokhara airport and fly to Kathmandu. We will pick you from Kathmandu airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can directly visit for sightseeing as well to save some time and return early to the hotel.

At. 11:30 AM: After completing the check in, refresh yourself and prepare for sightseeing at Patan durbar square. Once you complete the visit, you will proceed to Chandragiri hills which will take about 40 minutes from Patan. As the exploration ends, return to the hotel. You will have free time in the evening to visit nearby local markets such as Thamel. 

Chandragiri hills is at 2551 meters above sea level, so equivalent to that we get a beautiful mountain view west to east including Mt. Annapurna Range, Mount Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Dorje Lakpa Gaurishankar mountain range.

DAY 6

Transfer to Airport, Farewell.

You can add any sightseeing on an additional basis or enjoy your leisure time at the hotel. We will transfer you to the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight time. (A 30-minute drive from your hotel.)

    We (Holidays to Nepal Pvt. Ltd) follow an easy trip booking process:

    1st: Confirm your itinerary and the hotels with us and let us provide your travel date along with flight details.

    2nd: We will reserve your hotels and update you with an invoice of yours to make the advance payment.

    3rd: We require an advance payment of INR 20,000 Per Person to proceed your booking, after receiving your advance payment, we will confirm the reserved hotels and other needful arrangements of yours.

    4th: Later we will share the hotel booking vouchers, required flight tickets and the revised invoice.

    Payment Note: The remaining payment should have been done on the 1st day of your arrival, we won't be responsible for any service disturbance due to the partial payment from your end.

    Important Note: Further, the clients or agent will be responsible for the unavailability of hotels and flights due to the late confirmation and advance booking payment.

  • What is the airport pick up process upon arrival in Kathmandu?
